3. When you’ve configured access, your Google Nest Doorbell uses familiar face detection to verify your neighbor as they approach the door.
4. Your ADT system will pause the alarm and release the door lock when the person is authenticated as an authorized guest.
5. You receive instant notifications as your neighbor enters and departs. The app also provides a complete log. 
6. Once the trusted neighbor leaves, your smart door lock secures automatically to shield your home.

You may provide access for any person you would like, such as a housesitter, a maintenance worker, or a companion who shows up when you’re away. This tool is also helpful during emergencies, particularly when you’re not around.
